This project has consisted in the design for a tender phase of the MEP installations for a bridge over the sea between Falster and Masnedo, Denmark. Total bridge length is about 4km, with width approximately of 25m. That’s provides it the capacity for 2 railways, a double way road and a cycle and pedestrian path.
The box girder bridge has an average width of 11m. Along the interior of the principal girder MEP installations are designed: electrical installation for low and medium voltage (design power of 212kW), firefighting and fire detection systems, lighting, communication and control. In both abutments of the bridge exists control rooms that in addition are equipped with plumbing, drainage and HVAC systems.
The project also includes a protection system against atmospheric discharges (through rebars), architectural lighting and navigational.
