Following the spirit of the requirements included in the tender proposal and inspired by the traditions and identity of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the architectural integration of the Obhur Bridges was further developed with additional features. The original purpose was to provide integration along the bridges in an architectural and esthetical point of view, in order to enhance the visual impact of this infrastructure.

The arch bridge represents the iconic element of this infrastructure project. The arches were furnished with an architectonical glass accent that strengthens the iconic view of it, including a lighting stripe that creates a beautiful night view. This emblematic emphasis is enhanced by a Islamic geometric pattern serigraphy in the glass that fosters the cultural identity of this new symbol of Jeddah.

At the central part of the bridge, the walkway is widened to create a viewing platform. Here, benches and shades are increased to provide a nice resting area in which pedestrians will be delighted by the views. In this plaza, sculptural curved shape elements give continuity to the trajectory of the cantilevered beams every 7m in the outer side of the bridge.
